Today I would like to show you one of my current recipes for a green detox smoothie:
The secret ingredient is: Barley Grass
Barley grass is known to contain lots of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, and chlorophyll, and is said to help treat conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, inflammation, fibromyalgia, and insomnia. Compared to wheat grass, barley grass is easier to digest. Additionally, barley grass is said to help loose weight, enhance your energy levels, slow down your aging process, and boost your immunity system. So Barley grass is indeed a s u p e r f o o d !
And here it is, my recipe for a green detox smoothie:
a lovely ripe banana
100 ml coconut milk
100 ml mango juice
100 ml water
1 tablespoon barley grass powder
When you are feeling very hungry you can also add 2 tablespoons of oat bran.
